SB Tech Lab — Phase I (Original Building at HQ1)
The first Square Bidness Tech Lab site — the existing building behind HQ1 in Hammond
where tools, equipment, and early tech work live every day.
Location: HQ1 · Hammond, LA
Use: Tech Lab · Storage · Install Training
Status: Active · In Daily Use
1. Snapshot — What Phase I Really Is
- Existing building sitting directly behind HQ1 on owned land.
- Used as the first SB Tech Lab for tools, materials, and equipment.
- Staging area for electrical work, outlets, breakers, and install practice.
- Workspace for apparel equipment (press machine, future embroidery, storage).
- Content zone: reels, photos, and tech walkthroughs filmed around real work.
Phase I proves the Tech Lab is already operating — funding simply lets you expand,
not start from zero.
2. Layout & Use Zones
You don’t need a perfect CAD drawing to talk to lenders — just clear zones and use cases.
Front Half — Tools & Electrical Bench
- Wall space for hand tools, testers, bits, and small parts.
- Bench area for outlets, switches, and breaker prep before going into the house.
- Safe place to pre-wire harnesses and practice Square Bidness Install Method.
Back Half — Equipment & Storage
- Storage for press machine and future 20A circuits dedicated to equipment.
- Shelves for paint, mud, plates, fixtures, and contractor materials.
- Space to stage boxes before work at HQ1, HQ2, or Start2Finish sites.
Yard Interface — HQ1 + Tech Lab
- Direct sightline to HQ1 and the 40×50 slab area behind it.
- Acts as the “ops shed” for burners, ladders, and exterior tools.
- Connects the whole property into one system: HQ1 + Lab + Slab.
3. Electrical & Future Upgrades
This building is where your electrical journey really got serious — and where future EMT
and data work can start.
Current Reality
- Used to stage outlets, breakers, and switches before taking them into the house.
- 20A receptacles planned to support press machines and future tools.
- Plenty of wall space to mount a small subpanel, pull-map, and breaker legend.
Next Moves (Phase I Upgrades)
- Add labeled breaker map and outlet diagram inside the building.
- Mount a simple pull-map showing feeder runs to HQ1 and future slab.
- Clean up interior walls with a fresh coat of paint and basic organization.
- Document the space with “before / after” photos for lender and investor packets.
When you’re ready, this building can hold the first small rack, networking gear, and
monitoring equipment that points toward the future data center.
4. Equipment & Operations
This isn’t dead storage — it’s active Square Bidness operations space.
What Lives Here
- Press machine lane powered by 20A receptacles.
- Tool sets: drivers, testers, bits, mud knives, plates, screws, anchors.
- Paint, primer, and patch materials for HQ1 & HQ2 work.
- Bins for wall plates, outlets, switches, dimmers, and covers.
How It Supports the Main House
- Lets you pre-build solutions so time inside HQ1 is efficient and clean.
- Gives you a safe space to test Square Bidness Install Method on scrap boards.
- Holds overflow inventory for future jobs with Start2Finish and local clients.
5. Lender Paragraph — Phase I Tech Lab
Copy / paste this into loan packets when you need to explain the existing building.
Behind our primary headquarters in Hammond (HQ1), we operate an existing building that
functions as Phase I of the Square Bidness Tech Lab. This structure is already in daily
use as a secure workspace for tools, electrical work, equipment staging, and training.
We pre-wire harnesses, prepare outlets and breakers, store press machines and materials,
and document real field work from this building. It is not a vacant shed — it is an
active operations hub that supports HQ1 today and connects directly to our planned
expansion onto the 40×50 concrete slab behind the property.
